Cozy December Dinner Skillet

December gets busy — so this month, we’re keeping dinner simple, creamy, and comforting.

In this live cooking class, we’ll make one cozy skillet that can serve you twice.

Together, we’ll cook a Creamy Chicken & Veggie Skillet — a rich, dairy-free meal made with real-food ingredients and tons of flavor. You’ll enjoy it warm over pasta or rice that night, then I’ll show you how to portion and freeze the base for a second, no-stress dinner later in the month.

You’ll also learn how to make a nut-free version using white beans and a vegetarian option that’s equally hearty and protein-packed.

By the end of class, you’ll have a satisfying dinner on the table and a backup meal ready to go — because real life calls for food that works twice as hard.

What We’ll Make Together

NEW this month: Nut-free and vegetarian options.

The Bonus Lesson: How to prep and freeze for a second dinner without losing flavor or texture.

January

Stock & Simplify: A Freezer Prep Night

Class Date: January 12th, 2026

Class Time: 6:30 pm ET

Where: Zoom

Start the new year feeling calm and prepared in your kitchen — not overwhelmed.

In this live class, we’ll cook once and set you up for multiple stress-free meals later. Together, we’ll prep a few simple, anti-inflammatory staples that freeze beautifully and make dinner effortless on busy nights.

We’ll cook and prep:

  • Two proteins — shredded chicken (cooked in bone broth with multiple method options) and taco-style ground turkey using my homemade seasoning mix
  • One grain — a quinoa-rice blend cooked in bone broth for extra nutrients
  • Two sauces — roasted red pepper sauce and creamy cilantro crema

Each component can be mixed and matched to create quick, nourishing meals long after class ends.

You’ll also learn how to label, store, and thaw these staples so your freezer becomes your secret weapon this winter.

Key Takeaway:
Prep once. Relax later. Let’s stock your freezer with anti-inflammatory staples you’ll actually use and set you up for stress-free dinners

What is Kitchen Culture?

It’s more than a class. It’s a monthly cooking reset, led by someone who’s been there, and it all happens virtually—so you can cook (or just watch!) from the comfort of your own kitchen.

After my husband survived a massive heart attack at 41, I changed everything about the way we lived—and especially, the way we cooked.

Over time, I realized: healthy eating doesn’t have to be perfect, fancy, or overwhelming. It just has to be real.

That’s the heartbeat behind Kitchen Culture.

  • Anti‑inflammatory swaps so you cook smarter, not harder.
  • Simple prep methods that save time and stress.
  • Real‑food tips you can use long after the class.

Healthy cooking that’s simple, approachable, and actually fun.

Whether you’re brand new in the kitchen or looking to add new energy to your routine, this class is your monthly reset to eat well—without the overwhelm.

Hi, I'm Shelley Loving

—a Nutrition Chef, certified Culinary Nutrition Expert, and the author of What’s On Your Fork?!

I help everyday home cooks take the confusion out of healthy eating and bring real, nourishing food back to the table. My journey started when my husband had a massive heart attack at just 41. That moment changed everything. It pushed me to learn how powerful food can benot just for healing, but for truly living well.

I’m certified through the Institute for Integrative Nutrition, The Academy of Culinary Nutrition, and Rouxbe Culinary School.

But more importantly, I’ve lived this—and now I teach it.

I created Kitchen Culture to make healthy cooking feel doable and even fun. My classes are about confidence, flavor, and small, simple steps that actually fit your life.

I’ve learned how small, anti‑inflammatory tweaks—like choosing turmeric or swapping cream for coconut milk—can make a big difference. I teach you exactly how, so healthy cooking doesn’t feel hard. It just has to feel real—and that’s what I’m here to help you build.

Let’s cook together and make it simple, one meal at a time.
